At dConnection we’re committed to delivering a reliable and responsive AI assistant experience for all customers. To ensure consistent service quality, subscriptions are subject to this Fair Usage Policy.
1. General
FreeMe is designed for normal personal use throughout the month. Noise Shield works continuously for you in the background, while live assistant interactions and AI voicemail are activated as required by the user or when FreeMe needs to reach you.
2. Credits
Your FreeMe plan comes with a credit allocation. These credits are used up by actions FreeMe takes on your behalf as part of Noise Shield and Active Assistant. Credits do not roll over between months and any credits not used within a monthly cycle will be lost. If a customer runs out of credits within a cycle they will be able to top-up online with additional credits for that cycle.
3. Monthly Usage
While usage varies depending on the type of interaction, a typical month is designed to support approximately 150 call and 500 SMS user-initiated active interactions, alongside the ongoing processing of a regular number of messages and emails via Noise Shield. Active interactions include sending messages, requesting actions, or engaging the assistant via voice or call.
4. Fair Usage Safeguards
To ensure a high-quality experience for all users, dConnection reserves the right to:
Prioritise or limit certain high-cost features, including but not limited to AI voicemail processing and extended or repeated voice call interactions
Throttle or adjust background processing frequency where usage is unusually high
Temporarily restrict access to specific features if usage significantly exceeds typical patterns
These measures are designed to prevent misuse and maintain service performance across the platform.
5. Excessive or Non-Standard Usage
If your usage consistently exceeds what would be considered normal personal use (e.g. automation, bulk processing, or commercial-scale activity), we may:
Contact you to discuss your usage
Recommend a more suitable plan or custom solution
Apply reasonable usage controls where necessary
6. Transparency and Control
We aim to provide visibility into your usage wherever possible. You will be able to:
Track your feature and credit consumption
Receive notifications if usage is going to be limited
7. Policy Updates
This Fair Usage Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the service. We will notify users of any material changes where appropriate.
